Place in Western IA to shoot long?

My brother and I are meeting in Sioux City IA in a week or so. He has never shot a rifle beyond 100 yds, and then only once. I want to show him what fun it is to shoot long, and thought it might be fun to bring some of my long range rifles down, but only if there was a (safe) place to shoot 300+ yds. Anyone know of a place within 50 miles of Sioux City IA? Just thought I'd ask. Thanks, Drew

Hunters Pointe just west of Sioux Falls, SD has a 600 yard range. Just as tad outside of your 50 mile range. I would call ahead to make sure they will be open.

Went there today and shot at 200 to "qualify", then took a long walk to 600 (too muddy for their cart today). Took a few at 600 just for practice. A very, very nice facility. Great people and well run. Will stop by there again when I pass through in the future.

Can recommend highly to others on this forum.
