I'd like to share this will pistol shooters that use lead bullets.
I shoot a lot of lead bullets, Oregon Trail Laser Cast bullets, out of my S&W revolvers (357 and 38's loaded to +P 38 pressure levels). These are amazing accurate for cast bullets.
I clean the bore after every 100 rounds as experience has taught me that the accuracy starts to fall off at about this point with cast bullets. Normally cleaned with Hoppe's No. 9. which did a fair job but not great.
I recently tried Bore Tech's Rim Fire blend (w/ bronze brush) and was amazed at the excellent job it does removing all lead. It's odorless also.
