Shooter Choice Shotgun choke tube cleaner. Works great on muzzle brakes too. I corrected my mistake, it's Shooter's Choice not Birchwood.View attachment 1410983View attachment 1410984
Took my Valentines Gift FN X out today for the first time. Love it. 5 @ 25 yards. As you can imagine, it shoots dirty with the suppressor attached . What is the best method/cleaner to clean the blowback powder residue from the hard to reach areas in the frame and trigger assembly?
Thanks
you call that dirty?View attachment 1410983View attachment 1410984

Careful with that brake cleaner, it is some nasty stuff and can cause respiratory damage if inhaled. Carb. cleaner does the same thing and is much less hazardous to your health. Brake cleaner is also a carcinogen.I use my favorite gun solvent, an old tooth brush and patches. Once everything turns black I blow it all off with break cleaner, use the air gun to dry things out then a light coat of oil.
That’s nice shooting at 25 yards.View attachment 1410983View attachment 1410984
