Pierce action and long heavy barrel

Would the short tenoned pierce action be ok to hang a 1.25" straight 30" 7mm barrel from? I have a barrel that isn't performing in a barrel block, thinking of trying it set up conventionally to see if it's the block causing vertical problems that haven't been fixable any other way.

I have a 6Dasher set in a Pierce with a 28" 1.25 tapering to 1" with ZERO problems...

I sure hope not since that is what Preacher just made for me. Only mine is a 6mm barrel.

Thanks guys. Again what a wonderful forum for everyone to help out. It really is appreciated and hopefully by resetting this barrelled action into a v block and out of a barrel block, this 7mm krieger might come to life.

It's been in a barrel block however the barrel has shot disgracefully. I have a feeling the block is causing bad vertical at long range so I'm going back to a conventional setup where the action holds the barrel. If it doesn't shoot like this then I know the barrel is junk. If it does then I will probably get rid of the barrel block.
