Spent the summer in Durham NC when I was 7 or 8 years old. 93 in the day 38 at night. go to bed sweating and get up at 2 to close the window and get a blanket. But you are right its a beautiful place.

Me: Are you kidding? This is glorious. No wind, flat light, no mirage… let’s go shootin’.

…but it didn’t last. The fog burned off, the wind picked up, the mirage started to bubble... game on!

Tommy thanks for putting on a well run match. Michael you did an awesome job calling the line and the target crew was top notch. It really is a beautiful range.

To the crew from South Carolina, Y’all are a hoot. Thanks for making this Virginia boy feel welcome.

Hope to shoot my first match at Piedmont this coming year. Not a far drive for me from over in Hickory. Heard many good things about the range.
