OMG it was 40mph gust and got colder as the day went along.
I DQ'd both matches. Couldn't hit a bull in the arse !
Light Gun was first. Several DQ'd.
Heavy Gun only 4 shot clean.
Scores will come when Tommy sends them.
Head Wind was so strong one of Sams flags self destructed !
My tall one bent over so far i could've taken the flag off of it ... It was 15' tall !

Here ya go! Just 4 people survived HG with 19 shooters. Only 3 made the whole match without a DQ or two! I have shot most of the matches at Piedmont over the past 18 years. I have seen some very bad, switchy winds over the years, most of the time in March. But today topped them all!! It was still a lot of fun even though a few of us got initiated to the DQ club.

Too give you an idea of how windy this match was. It blew my spotting scope over! Mind you, my spotting scope has about a 25 pound commercial grade tripod made for studio grade video equipment. Also, after the daisy wheel exploded, it pick up one of my wind flags off the pole and blew it about 30-40 feet across the range. It was a day to remember!
