Piecing Together Reloading Equipment?

Excellent advice. Contrary to the other advice, I think the "kits" are worth the money. I went with an RCBS kit years ago and still use several of the main components
I also agree with this and got an RCBS kit many years ago. The kit is a small investment to test the water and see if reloading is even for you. You can spend a ton of money on top notch equipment just to find out you don't like it or don't have the time to invest. Reloading has great rewards and I love it. I have seen several persons get into it and figure out quickly they would rather purchase ammo because it did what they wanted. Good luck on your decisions.

Take heed to this advise, because if you don't, you will curse yourself when it happens. Not to mention possible ruining a die if you dig it out improperly, or get the case out at all. This happened to a friend who didn't take everyone's advise. He still has the .308 die with the stuck case in it. He ripped the entire rim off, then tried to pound it out from above and punched out the base. I call him, "Die Man", and we laugh about it still.

Only one piece of advice to add to all the good advice above. When I started to accumulate all my reloading gear in 1970, my buddy looked at my list and said to invest in one more item - an RCBS Stuck Case Remover kit.

Only needed it twice in 40 years of reloading, lol, but as far as I'm concerned it paid for itself the first time I needed it. Without it, it's a bit harder and more time consuming to dig out of that little problem.
