Pieces of history-Merle, Mike, Walker, rifles

I was fortunate many years ago to purchase 2 of Mike's favorite rifles from him.
First is his Mod 37 Rimfire as modified by him. He controlled the woodbox and the wood is beautiful. It has a Lyman Target Spot scope, Mike shortened the barrel by cutting back of the rifle and rechambered it. He said the barrel had a very slight taper and choke. He also added a band on the barrel at the fore end of the stock.
I was told at my age that it is time to get rid of some of them.
$1900 shipped in the CONUS.

I have a modified stock for a 722 Remington by Mike Walker with a great piece of wood on it. I bought it from Bob White who was one of Mikes friends. I am looking for a 722 barreled action for it in about any short action caliber.
