Pictures i wanted to share..hope not too big or long. Shooting on the farm

I just wanted to share some pics. All of the groups were shot with my Trued Remington 700 22-250. I know these won't break any records but my family farms so I have free access to shoot as far as I want near my home. These are just random groups I"ve shot. Some up close and some on out there. I'm no expert but I have always shot a lot and when you shoot a lot your going to come across some good groups. Believe it or not, I shoot off the tailgate of my truck with a cheap rest when shooting long range..and I mean cheap, but its more stable than u think...here it is.

This is 3 shots at 600 yard..when the wind is calm.

This is 5 shots at 100 yards...

300 yards

400 yards

My Bench. That's my Remington 700 7mm rem mag that I deer hunt with. I've killed some fairly nice whitetail with it. I use 140gr accubonds with Reloder 22.

I killed this buck several years ago at 460 yards with my 7mag. He was standing in rice stubble with a hot doe. I couldn't find a rest to get steady. I layed down but couldn't see him for the stubble. I walked along the woods and found a big tree branch that had fallen and got a solid rest on that. I made a good shot behind the shoulder. He ran about 50 yards and went down. My son killed the smaller buck the same morning...he was 13.

Very nice guns and shooting especialy for a 22-250 @ 600 yards . I do some 600 yard competion shooting and some gus at the match can't pull that off sometimes. I farm also so its nice to see other farmers enjoying the shooting sport. Oh yea very nice buck to

Well, I get to pick and choose when I shoot so I don't compare myself to the F class guys. I have the wrong cartridge for that anyway. Thanks

nice shooting , I like the 22-250 . I have a rem 700 in that cal. good looking bucs also . must be nice to be able to walk out the door and start hunting . rich

Nice pics and nice buck. With varmint guns, minute of groundhog works for me. Look like you're doing better than that. :) Good hunting to you!

Nice shooting and nice deer. You may want to reverse the rear bag as shown and remove the padded sleeve on the buttstock. IME, it will eliminate potential problems.

Copy that! I'm row crop myself. It is nice having a 1400 yard range!

Yeah, I knew the bag was wrong..I just sat it there before a pic and didn't realize until afterwards..
