Pics of recovered bullets

125 SST , 300 BO, 98 yards

Out of this little guy, about 130 lbs.

6.5 143 ELDX at 1000 yards, recovered out of a clay berm. Just the jacket remained, core penetrated futher.
Jacket found in 8 inches of clay.

Apologize for the crappy pics!

My two cents: Pics are pretty much useless unless the full story is give, i.e. caliber, initial weight, make, model, animal or target material, distance, part of animal hit, etc.

Full story:
- caliber 54
- initial weight 430 gr.
- make T/C Maxi Ball
- model Rem 700 ML
- animal cow moose
- distance ~ 55 yards
- part of animal hit tight in the shoulder, double lung, bullet against the hide on the far side.

Lehigh Defense Maximum Expansion Subsonic Bullet. Used them on three deer and it dropped them in their tracks.

Couple of oldies. Bullet on the left was recovered from a small 6-point bull elk. 160 gr. Partition from a 7 MM at about 100 yards. Shot in 1998. Bullet on the right is an Nosler Zipedo 85 gr. out of a .243. Deer was a stepped-off 410 yards in 1984.

142 gr ABLR recovered from a bull elk. Elk roughly 600-650 pounds live weight. Bullet entered the ham, through the pelvis and traveled the full length lodging under the off-side shoulder. Found when I ground the meat for burger. What was left weighed in at 59.9 gr. Fired from a 264 WM at 3180 fps mv. Shot was 137 yards.

I guess they don't have to look if they don't. I'd like to see them with description if you have information

Sorry I forgot to get back to you. If you want to really see them I do have several from different calibers. All shot in a wood backer that has several layers of everything from ocb, plywood, and 2x4s. If so I will get them together and take a pic and put them on the computer.

Sounds great, thanks
