Picatinny end mill

Curious what y’all use to cut picatinny rails, specifically the female side. I want to make a couple of mounts.

Yes, but the reverse. That cuts the edge of the picatinny rail. I want to make some mounts so I need the female side the attached to the picatinny.

Saw those, was hoping to find HSS to save some $$. This will be an aluminum project, not production.

I made a female base by tilting the head on the mill 45 degrees and using an end cutting 3/16 end mill.

Check out AB Tooling. I haven’t used any of their picatinny tooling but have been very pleased with other cutters from them. They are very quick on getting them shipped to.
