Phoenix FCN 2015 courses of fire.

Turbulent Turtle

F-TR competitor
I'm starting to plan out my ammo needs for Phoenix and while reading the program I see that we are going to have two days of Palma style shooting in the mid-range competition. On the first and third day we will be shooting at 300/500/600 yards. Also everything is 20 rounds per match instead of 15.

What are the arrangements for the line changes for 300 and 500? Are cars allowed at the yard lines or do we cart from one to the other?

Yes cars will be allowed at the yard lines and there will be shuttles to take everyone to and from the pits. Just remember to move your car to the correct yard line before going to the pits. No one wants to be THAT guy.

Thanks for the response. I was starting to think I would be the only one attending the MR championship.

We used to do the TSRA MR as a Palma and I have seen people leave their cars at the 300 and go down to the pits. We had one guy get a 7 because he fired through the windows of the car from the 500 yard line. It was funny watching the owner run back from the pits, dodging bullets, to move his car. Lousy pit service.

Your not going to hang yourself are you Steve?

I certainly hope he's not planning on doing that, it would make the target frame really difficult to maneuver with that extra dead weight. And it would probably stink after a couple days.
