Hey Folks just wanted to share the news from Peterson Cartridge Company.....

They make great brass and now they're making .243win in both large rifle primer and small rifle primer!!!! I just pre-ordered some of the SRP and it should be shipping soon.

Love their brass! I hope they do the 7saum someday. I bought some of their Creedmoor brass, liked it so much I sold the 95 pieces of Lapua I had left this weekend. Thanks for the post, I could use some .243.

I had some initial problems with their brass but, let me tell you...They went way above the mark in settling my issues. Glad to hear on the .243 brass. Thinking on doing a 243AI and I will try their brass for the project. My only issue now is...Which one LRP or SRP? Maybe a box of each!

I wish they'd make some PPC brass, but you know how that goes. If you wish in one hand and poop in the other, see which one fills up first.

Peterson is sending out e-mails to anyone who bought their srp 6.5 CM brass that had a few pieces with over size primer pockets. Making everything right and giving a 20% coupon to anyone affected by the error. Stand up company!

Called them to find out about shipment dates on their large (regular) pocket .243 tonight, left a message. They called me back at 6PM to let me know they're going to begin shipping later this week....OTD on Friday! Impressed that they called back in the evening instead of waiting until next business day.

We can call them a real cartridge manufacturer now. They've had their first product recall. A few small primer pocket cases got shipped to customers with .020" oversize primer pockets.
