Peterson Brass Primer Pockets

Yes, I prime Peterson 308 SRP with an RCBS bench top tool w/ a Holland Perfect Primer Seater for uniform depth. Have not had any issues.

Something specific I can help with?
You pretty much did. I've got plans for a new 6br barrel and would like to run 200 -300 pieces of Peterson in it.
I just started using the RCBS benchtop priming tool and I'm quickly growing fond of it.

Not all brass lots are equal and not all primer pockets tools are the same. You might consider some measurements. One or both might be to the ends of the tolerance. If this is not your first srp brass you should have an idea what might be going on.

The uniform tool should just be hitting the radius at the base of the primer pocket.

I have Peterson 6 Dasher brass. They were too tight to uniform with my 21st century tool. They loosen up after a couple of firings enough to uniform them if that floats your boat. I have not touched them since I get good es with them.
