I see that the Peterson Cartridge Co. has introduced a second line of .243 Win. brass, this with the small primer pocket, the .243 Win. SRP. I don't know whether it also has the small flashhole diameter as well--but I doubt it.
What is everyone's impression of these .243 Win. SRP cases? Peterson cites the ability to load to higher pressures with the SRP version of the case as the rationale. On the other hand, is there any accuracy advantage in using small rifle primers in a case the size of the .243? Has there been any research into the effects of using small primers in a case of this size on accuracy?
