Petersen Brass Grows Production Facilities

I was discussing a project with one of the folks at Peterson the other day when he mentioned they were a tad behind because of the move... O.K., I'll bite, what move?

It seems that they had been planning to get more space in order to expand their capacity which is what they did. They went from 5,000 sq.ft. approximately to 27,000 sq.ft. But that's not the best news. Originally they were running a single line whereas now they will have a total of three lines! Hopefully this will mitigate some of the delays we're experiencing between runs.

Bear in mind that Peterson's is a small family owned business so they are probably just a little more careful about getting bigger.

This is another excellent piece of news for the shooting community experiencing the best made brass made in the USA along with Alpha and ADG. It doesn't get much better than this!

My first experience with Peterson was when I wanted 6mm CM LR primed brass for hunting. I was thoroughly impressed with the brass from every aspect. Glad to see them doing well.

Sounds good.

I wonder how much longer Grafs will have an exclusive on the 284 brass?

A little competition might make it easier for me to try new brass.

Grafs hasn't had an exclusive for quite a while now but it's sometimes difficult to find the other suppliers. Competition on this level will not bring the prices down as they are MAP, fixed pricing. Nobody seems to gripe about Lapua prices and this brass is just as good.

Last time I talked with Ben. 284 brass was exclusive with Graf. Graf commissioned it. Once that run was over, they moved to other projects.

He is supposed to let me know when they run .284 again.

I'm working with their 243 SRP brass now. Had to get the small decap pin for my Sinclair decap die. The brass is impressive
