Persicion Rifle Project- Carbon Barrel ?

My brother had given me a call and said that he as interest in a persicion rifle and possibly having a carbon barrel installed, Most likely for weight reduction, My brother is up in age and doesn't get around that great a anymore, Now if it was you, what rifle would you start with? and would you go with a carbon barrel or not, I started to give them a closer look and I kind of like the Tikka Tac, What do you fellows think? thanks

You can buy savage pre-fits from proof so you can start there if you like

I have been looking at the Carbon Six barrels. I have had the Proof barrels over the years and thinking of trying the Carbon Six.
