Pennsylvania yote

l notice the page was last updated in 2018.. l haven't flown to shoot since app 2012. lt was 'factory ammo' then

I hunted in Zimbabwe in 2007 and Namibia in 2014, plus have flown within the U.S. to hunt in most years for the past 25. During that entire time, factory ammo was never a requirement for airline travel, and I flew with handloads in MTM boxes every time. No issues.

Here's another coyote.

Last coyote I shot in NY was with a 7 mag, 150 grain NBT. First round to the chest and he sat there chewing on the hole. The second round busted his head. Tough and big in the east.

I’ve flown to / from several states with a 38 +P snubby with the ammo in a plastic ammo box, not factory packaging. It doesn’t surprise me that some of the airport staff don’t know the rules though.

Reminds me of some idiots at the franchise shipping places that don’t want you to ship one of those scary rifle scopes. If you throw or swing those fast enough they could hurt somebody.

I’ve never shot a coyote but the ones I’ve seen up close around Midland / Odessa in west Texas were way smaller than that pretty Goldiyote that @1BAD284 shot. I’d say no more than 25-30 lbs.
