It was a great day to be shooting at Piedmont. Jeff Godfrey, and Reggie Wilson both shot a pending world record Heavy Gun 4 target agg.

Jeff was shooting a Dasher on a Polar action in a Kelbly true heavy gun stock if I remember right this is the old Lee Six stock

Jeff, Best I remember that is a 1984 Stolle Polar action and you are right, the stock is a Kelbly mold of and old Lee Six heavy BR stock before they started making rail guns.! The older gentleman (Ed Hartman), a short range BR shooter from the 70’s and 80’s had it when I bought it. He said every barrel he ever put on it “shot”! He said the rifle is “right”. It had a 22PPC barrel on it (still got it by the way) when I bought it. It was about wore out and would still shoot inside of your finger nail at 300 yards! It was one of the only rifles I have had that shot a 6x47 Lapua well. Those old Stolle Polars and Teddys are like fixing up an old muscle car like a 69 Camaro or the like.
