Hi Terry,
I think I have a guy that would be a very good candidate for this offer. He is stationed overseas in Europe at the moment. I have known him and many in his family for many years. With his permission, I would reveal how I know him and our history, but I can tell you from personal experience, he is one of the most respectful, caring, thoughtful and loving persons I have met.
Before I contact him I would like to know what we are offering. Is this a free barrel and chamber job?
I built him a custom stock to fit his coyote gun free of charge, but he wasn't able to get it bedded as he wasn't comfortable doing the work. He is a coyote hunting fanatic.
I am thinking adding a chambered barrel, and bedding it to my stock would be a pretty nice present when he returns.
I can probably get the gun and deliver it to you, and pick it up when it is done, although it would be pretty straight forward, as it is a Savage. I can also bed it if that would work out best.
He really likes the 60 Gr. Sierra TMK for coyote work now, so a 10/11/12 twist, 22 cal barrel would be his choice. I wonder if Stan can spin one of those up?
Your call Terry. I am in for what ever needs to be done to put it together if you think this is appropriate.
Thanks.
Jim
