Pay it forward...

Student of the 1911.
Hello everyone. I've been thinking about doing this for some time now but have just been busy as heck. This forum has helped me out a lot with my rifle stuff and I have and will continue to donate money to the cause as well as buy things from Amazon through here.

However, sometimes it is nice to "Pay it forward" directly to those who have helped me. So, I want to start this thread as follows:

I'm sure all of us has stuff in our shops/reloading room that we don't use but that might be useful to someone else. I know I sure do! This thread is for the express purpose of giving that stuff to people that will use it. Sure, you could get some money for it, but that's not the point. The point is to give it a new home. If you see something up on here that you like, want and cold put to use, take it...but let's not be greedy. ;-) If the mods see fit to sticky this thread that's fine, or move it to someplace else. I really didn't know where to put it and thought this would be as good a place as any.

So, the first thing I have up for grabs is a very lightly used (don't think they've ever been used honestly) two die set made by Pacific Durachrome. It is a series "I" two die FL set for .35 Remington.

First person that sends me a PM with address and says I'll take them can have them!

Best regards to all of you, thank you for your continued help in my reloading and shooting experience and I look forward to giving away a much more stuff and seeing what all you guys pull out of your closets to pay it forward!

Sincerely,
Joe Chambers

And the 35 Rem dies are gone to a very helpful person! Thanks Nodak7mm for taking me up on this offer. I hope you enjoy them!

Thanks MMCU for your contribution! Can't wait to see what you guys come up with next!

Regards,
Joe

I hope it works out for ya,for when I came up with the same idea,I got told it wouldn't work out.To many said things, like how can I say he or she really needs it,Or I paid a lot for this and I want to make some of it back.

I feel the same as you do,if I am not going to use it or find a deal to trade with it,I just don't need it any more.Thats with what ever it is,need it be a barrel or bullets.

I will play, but need to take a good look in the reloading room first. As soon as I find some things I cannot use or do not need I'll post them on this page OK.I too thank ya for your kind heart sir....

Good call. ;D I have a Redding powder trickler that I haven't used in a few years. It is free to the first that claims it and sends me a PM with shipping info. I'll throw that in as well. This is a great site!

I have a set of leupold rings and bases for a browning a-bolt,send me a pm .I also think the takers should post on this thread so one guy doesnt take it all and then he must post something for free.

In the spirit sharing with friends, Joes example of blessed fellowship and in the name of good food... I have a RCBS f/l die set in 7MM TCU for up to a person in need.

All I need is some shipping info sent to me via PM. Now I will go eat something...... ;D

Ryan, This time of day, its ice cream time... Ya know, a big piece of fresh pineapple upside down cake with big ole spoon full of vanilla, would be just killer about now.... The cake is fresh and warm of course, melts the ice cream.... Ummmmmmmm... But I'll have to settle for some cold sugar free pudding, gotta get my girlish figure back for the shooting line, doncha know....

Mike, a sandwhich? man you gotta dream bigger......

Oh yeah, dies are still up for grabs...

Shout out to Joe C., for starting this thread and the 35 Rem dies he sent me so I can resurrect my Grandpas REM 141.

I still have a set of RCBS FL dies in 7mm TCU up for grabs.. 02/18/13: Gone to another that is now digging in the closet for unused stuff...

Thanks Rod! Glad you got them safe and sound. I'm digging through the "room" this afternoon to see what all else I have that can find a new home...

I forgot to mention that the Lyman case trimmer comes with a 2nd cutting shaft for a drill. If anyone that's just getting started in reloading needs it. I also have a box of 30 cal bullets that are embedded with neco fire lap compound, all 4 stages.
