I had my 25 year old daughter listen to it. She was floored. Then she asked, "who is this guy?"
I damn near teared up over all she missed with guys like Paul Harvey, Harley Berg, Hell even Red Skeleton. Kids don't know what family humor/shows were like either.

Amazing the wisdom and forethought that some people had back in the day.
Always listened at lunch time in the truck while working gas plants ,pipeline, and or contruction.

Those of us that are old enough to remember listening to him were truly blessed! There are some still some good inspirational truthful men and women to listen to on the radio etc. but I just wonder how many Americans and American youth by percentage are listening? I 100% completely divorced myself from television just a few weeks over a year ago. Definitely in the top five of the best things I ever did for my own health and mental well-being. Not a cable wire anywhere to be found in my house and unless I am fortunate enough to remarry and she demands television there never will be again. Those who have an ear, let them hear. Thank you Paul Harvey.
I will add to my post that I do keep informed news wise by listening to American family radio to and from work. And I do like to listen to Rob Carson on Newsmax each week he is a real hoot! But honestly I can’t even stand watching the news shows on that channel anymore. I have to keep my blood pressure below a certain level to retain my commercial drivers license in order to make a living for myself and others that don’t feel like working.

You know, Denzel Washington (who I have a high opinion of) was briefly interviewed recently Apparently media had pissed him off about something. He said you know, I would Tell somebody that doesn't watch the news that they're uninformed. I would now tell somebody that watches the news that are misinformed. The media is so damn busy being 1st, that honesty takes second place. 1st before honesty. What's wrong with this picture?

I started listening to Paul Harvey with my Dad in the early 70's and seen him on TV I believe before that. Listened to his son also. Lunchtime was Paul time at work for us.
