So I saw the pic of that green thang and got to looking around the mancave to see if I could find something that would suffice for a copy cat. Lo and behold up on a shelf I spotted a small empty Lapua brass box. The bell rang in that one brain cell and wah lah. Got out the 1 1/4 " hole saw, stuck it in my cordless, popped a hole in the end of the box and trimmed the top edges for a straight line to the top and now I have a patch catcher for free. This is what I did.
necessity (or an inquisitive mind) is the mother of inventionSo I saw the pic of that green thang and got to looking around the mancave to see if I could find something that would suffice for a copy cat. It will if you put a rubber band on itI don't think barrels with tuners would fit.
The enclosed patch catchers eliminate the aerosol spray from solvent-soaked brushes exiting the muzzle end and prevents the spray from getting on scope lens, stinking up the house, and breathing it wherever you're cleaning.
