Passing

A short time back I requested prayer for my beloved wife of 19 years. She has since gone on to be with the Lord and those of her family who went before. I thank all off you for your prayers then, and ask that you say one for me to help me during this trying time.
She passed away very peasefully at home with me at her side on Wed. morning Feb. 16, 2011.

My wife and I will keep you in our prayers. I'm truly sorry for you loss. Keep faith in the Lord and he will pull you through.

sorry to hear about your loss. I've been there. If I may here is a blessing for you.

The Lord bless you and keep you
The Lord make his face to shine upon you
and be gracious to you
The lord lift up his countenence upon you
and give you peace
Numbers 6:24-26
so be it!!!

Your wife is with the Lord but she is still watching out for you. She will make the sun shine on you again.

jh, so sorry to hear about your loss. We lost my mother in law on the 12th of this month and this poem is what my wife choose to have printed inside the memorial cards. It was a comfort to me and I hope it will comfort you and yours also.

God saw she was getting tired
And a cure was not in sight
So He put His arms around her
Ans whispered, "Come with me"

With tearful eyes we watched her suffer
And saw her fade away
Although we loved her dearly
We could not make her stay

A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best

God Bless, and you and your family will be in my prayers.

I want to thank you all for your best wishes and prayers , verses , and stories. I'm secure in the fact that my beloved lois is with the Lord and that one day we will see each other again and that she will be waiting with outstrecthed arms to welcome me home.
She fought the battle of life or death for almost 5 years. Her doctor gave her 6 months almost 5 years ago , and told me only God kept her here , and he had nothing to do with it , not the meds but the love of Christ.

I will not be checking in for most of week , so I will thank everyone who posts after this post in advance. May God bless each of us.

I will say prayers for you my friend. Everything about this hits home in many ways. I lost a father figure and avid shooter to cancer this summer. Feb. 16th is my birthday and my name is John as well. One of the greatest things (that I only now can comprehend) that I was told about the passing of a loved one is that, in heaven there is no concept of time. We have time to deal with here in this world. But for those who have gone on before us, they need only to turn and look and we are there. Through everything I've been through in my life, the Lord has been ever faithful to ease my burdens and show me that he always is there for me.

God Bless You and Give You Strength,
John
