My Panda purchased a couple of years ago, came with a 6 BR barrel and a short range Edge stock. I recently put it in a red Robertson F-Class stock and punched it out to a Dasher. I was ready to take it to the range. I went with my standard load of N 203-B and did a bullet depth test.
I had it throated long and I believe my touch point is 2.485". I started the test at 2.500" and went down by 0.005 each group. My results may be skewed. The wind was blowing when I started and by the time I finished had gone to zero. First group was five shots but as the barrel warmed I went to three. I was loading at the range as I shot which took some time.
I settled on the 2.480" o.a.l. and loaded up five to try at 800 yards.
My first two shots at 800 were the top to two, almost touching.
Three shots later the 800 yard egg vaporized
The rifle was sighted in Memphis with Tim Claunch
Junebug was there with his Zebra Diamondback BRDX and Shayne with his EAGLE
