Panda bedding question

I'm putting together a new build and was wondering what most of you do.
Panda f-class and a 30 inch straight tube. Do most when bedding the action bed the first two to two and half inches of barrel or do completely free float barrel?

None of my heavy rifles have any bedding past the recoil lug, and very few of my sporter weights do either.... If your really want to know, build one with, and shoot it, and then without...
The rifle will tell you what it likes....

I have two rifles with F-Class Pamda's. They both have 31" barrels that are 1.250" straight. Rifles were built by Kelbly's and they did not bed past the recoil lug. So if I was going to do one, that's how I would do it as well.
