Anyone know the bolt travel on a short Panda action?

Hi Willy ,,,are you asking what ctgs will work in a short Panda,,,,I use mine for 06' lengths with no problems,,,it wont eject a "loaded" round ,,,,and I rarely take a loaded round out of it!!!!>>>the spent round ejects easily ,,,If a Panda has a "mini" port to eject thru that usually limits you to PPC /BR length ctgs....hope this helps..Roger

I have a short Panda on order and trying to work out some dimensions on the stock/cheek piece. Mine will have a left bolt/port, right eject.
Planning on a .243 Ackley Improved build. Kelbly lists a "short bolt stop" but I think the 243 empty case is too long. I inquired with Kelbly but they didn't have an answer? I know they are very busy and get tired of silly questions. Thanks again, willy

willy,,,the short bolt stop is for PPC's/BR's to shorten the "throw" a lil' ,,,you dont need or want it!!!when using .243/.308 etc,,,...Roger

That's what I thought. It would have been nice, as the bolt will hit the cheek piece, and I'll have to cut it away. I'm using my Anschutz Alu stock, that way I can have the same fit for .22 RF mini palma and F Class by just switching barreled actions.
