Painting a Stock

Going to have a heart valve replaced, going to have a little down time and thought I would paint my stock. It is a green Cholate, want to paint it violent yellow and brilliant green. Do I just sand it smooth and get some rattle cans? What kind of paint do I get, lacquer or enamel? Where do I get it? Any recommended brand? Do I put a clear coat over it for protection? What kind?

Bill,

I’m a surgical assistant. I’m sure things will go great with your valve replacement! I’m certainly NOT trying to tell you what to do or not, but please be very cautious working around Iso’s from 2k paints, especially from a recovery standpoint. Truth be told - I can give you a complete list of material you’ll need, including paint and you will spend damn near what it would cost to put your stock in a box and ship it to Brett. May want to consider spending your time with something else healthier.

Please explain what “Iso’s” are...
