Paging Scott Parker

Scale update. Yes I finally received my scales from sparker. After this thread was started I got a pm from him wanting me to call him. I did and no answer. Voice mails had the same response. A week later he did contact me saying my scales would ship by the end of the week. Two weeks later I had them in hand and they are very nice to use, pleased with their performance. I read thru all the previous posts here and my take is that poor service is the norm. I do understand that he is a hobbyist and has a life other than his scale service. I always try to use a “mom and pop” business if possible instead of just buying from a corporate but if you really don’t want to do the work then you need to stop and back off of the advertising, quit taking on more and not coming thru. Unethical at the least. Yes, I did get my scales back. Yes they do work as people have claimed. Was it done timely, no. Would I recommen him to others, not a prayers chance in Hell!

All I can say is he did fine by me, been 3-4 yrs ago though. Probably 6-8 month wait but I knew that going in and had another decent set of scales to use.

Small businesses take more turnaround time, I would suggest not trashing a man on the internet until you know the facts.
I've waited a year to get a pistol built that's just the way it is'

He's had 3 of my Scales for over 2 years, cashed my check and told me several times "it ships next week"

It's not trashing a man if it's the truth.

I try very hard to be the same guy every day, open, honest and try to see the best in people.
With that said :
2 years would definitely piss me off.

Scale#1 is tuned, calibrated and on its way back. Tracking number sent. Will finish the other two tonight and tomorrow. My apologies for an egregiously long wait.

Scott
Not really I moved on and bought a big digital but I still want my property back!

During the last 19 years of competitive shooting in two disciplines, 1,000 yd. bench rest and F Class, I have used Mr. Parkers tuned balance beam scale exclusively during my final loading process. Consistent ammunition is only one part of success on the range but without it a shooter doesn't stand a chance. I have purchased and used two very expensive lab scales and each one had issues. I'm still looking for the shooter who has a lab for his reloading room. Humidity controlled, temp. controlled, dust controlled, seperate electric circuit with power surge protection and no moving air.
A balance beam scale will not fail unless you get stupid.

Go to a jewler sometime and ask them to weigh a gold ring for you. He won't be using a lab scale.
Even Fort Knox uses a huge balance beam scale for accuracy.

Thank You Mr. Parker for 167 relay, match, agg. and championship wins in two countries.
You are the best at what you do!

With Best Regards,
Bob Pastor

Are you Happy now?

I was over it all about a year and half ago. I moved on to a Bald Eagle digital for a while and have been weighing on an A&D 200 for 6-8 months now. I doubt I'll ever shelve the A&D for a beam regardless of how nice it is but I guess you never know until you try.

Am I happy now? Are you insinuating I was out of line for dropping that post in this thread? Would you be happy if you paid for something up front and waited over 2 years for it? I'm happy to be walking the earth and doing what I want every day. This has just been a speed bump!

Like I said I look forward to using them. I've already received one PM and no I'm not interested in selling any of the three beam scales at this time.

That's the way I read his post.

Y'all brought me back into the conversation, (I was feeling your pain Brother..)

And I responded to Dale Boy open and honest.

Asking if your happy now?
I' don't believe I'm insinuating anything.
