swadiver's glued carpet/mat approach works - I use one of his creations for midrange ftr and get excellent results with it!i took a piece of close weave carpet and contact glued it to a rubber welcome mat. it's stiff and hard enough for supporting the Joy Pod but flexible enough to work on uneven ground
Try a mudflap from NAPA.What kind of pad have you fellas found to work well with the front rest.I have tried the pod pad I would like to get some other ideas to try and see what works for me and what does not.
Thanks

Trotline weightRealize this is an old thread that's been resurrected, but has anyone found a good alternative use for a Seb Podpad? I haven't used mine since going the rigid board route.
