I only buy reamers and headspace gauges from Ptg, so I can only speak to that part of the business. No complaints.

I love their reamers. Some of my best cutting reamers are PTG. I also have excellent cutting reamers from JGS and Manson, but the price for PTG is much better.

I even had an issue with a PTG reamer and they made me a brand new one in a few days.

Jgs reamer customer service is outstanding. As is Manson.

Good deal. PTG makes many nice products for sure. 25 years ago their reamers were the "gold standard " for many rifle smiths, and then things changed, and not for the better. Here's to hoping they are headed back to the "good old days" as they did make a fine reamer in their time.

PTG might have taken a lot of damage due to their selling of the Remington custom shop stuff (which apparently turned into a total customer service boondoggle). I honestly don't think there was any period where they didn't make good reamers, but I could be wrong. I have never had a PTG reamer that didn't cut like a knife through butter. One of my reamers has easily 100 chambers on it and the chambers still look amazing.

Brad, glad to hear their reamers are working well for you. As that is really the only thing that matters in the end! Regardless of what brand name the reamer is, a great chamber is just that.... a great chamber. Keep up the fine work.

You are......

I had a reamer made, it was so tight in the ass end, it would not even chamber factory brass.

Sent it back for a regrind, was charged $75, & that one was still too tight. I eventually got my $75 back though.

They made me a third one, and still not right, I gave up.

So I ordered one from JGS, came back perfect.

And just for S&G's, I also sent JGS the last PT&G reamer to measure for me. It was off in virtually every dimension. Never again.....

When was this? What time frame? Just curious.
