Pac nor super match barrel question

Hi guys, I'm looking to re barrel my 223 bolt gun (med sporter) with a pac nor super match barrel, I see they come in stainless or Chrome, ... which one? and why? thanks

Do you want it Blued? If so Chrome
I have several of their SS barrels. They are excellent

Stainless 3-groove was my choice. Mine in .223 shot a 0.68" group at 100 yds. for 20 shots.

IMO they shoot the same.

Some say CM lasts longer in competition.

I would personally go stainless, if for no other reason than a little corrosion protection in the bore. Pac Nor makes a very good barrel.

Stainless for the same reason boltfluter stated.

I've had both several times over, nothing wrong with either. It seems the throat lasts a tad longer in stainless. It seems no matter how careful I am about oiling the bore I seem to end up with minor rust pitting with the carbon barrels. They still shoot but just sayin'...
