Do you mean take stock off and clean latch and use lapping compound on it ?I would take it apart and clean it with a solvent like lacquer thinner, then use a good quality gun oil. Then sit in front of the TV and work parts back and forth. If that didn't help, I might consider using some lapping compound for a minimal amount, as long as I could wash it all out.
I bought a CZ o/u and it is a bit stiff to open. The latch is very stiff let alone the break open part. Have tried a half dozen different lubes with not much success? Any ideas?
Now I have to go find 15,000 rounds.....lolShoot 15,000rds thru it and itll be a nice sob
Improvise, adapt and overcomeThink I might have it,I took the forearm off then very carefully filled the back side of the piece the forearm latches on that is attached to barrel . Don't no what it's called but a small bit of filing did wonders
Can't hurt a Huglo...lol Actually this was something I read off another forum, what I really should have done is filed the piece in the forearm ,that way if I messed up it would be simple to replace. But I guess thats how we got our name(JARHEAD)Improvise, adapt and overcome. That wouldn't have been my first choice but it will probably last the rest of our lifetime.
