outside turn or inside?

To my understanding on my 6mm Remington Winchester brass that the necks are getting thicker due to brass flowing from the shoulder to the neck. Is it better to inside or outside turn the necks to get the thicker area down. Was thinking of neck expanding and turn the outside just where the brass is thicker which is right above the neck should juction. This brass has never had the necks turned and only been fire 2 times.

When you run the expander mandrel to get ready to neck turn, the mandrel will push all the inconsistencies to the outside, then you neck turn the outside.

I know both work, but I'm only familiar with outside turning.

Erik,
The only thing i was worried about is that the fact of this Winchester brass neck being so far out from one side to the other. When I turn it I may have to turn the whole neck and lose about .010~.015 on the whole length of the neck. Also it seems to be .003 tighter where its thicker at. That seams like alot to cut.
Its hard to belive that much brass has moved to the necks in 2 firings.
