Out of 8208xbr, what to try ? 223 Wylde

With the powders you have, I would start with the 133 and the 52's. It will punch small groups.

I use it in the the 222 and the 222 mag.

My buddy had a 700 in 223. He couldn't get it to shoot. I bought it from him. I started w 133 and 53gr smk. Produced bugholes
He still swears I fixed a problem w the gun.
20 years later.
I never did anything except, clean it, put a scope on it and loaded.

I ues Winchester 748 in a bolt gun with 50gr. Then varget in another with 73gr eldm. Then h335 with 55gr gas gun. Then cfe223 for 75gr in another gas gun 223 wylde with 8 twist. There are many good powders for this cartridge.

Here's a bit of OLD SCHOOL for ya.

H380

Not making any claims these are the best...for they are not....due to newer powders that are now on the market with cleaner burn and less temperature sensitive.

Having said that, given the current "shortage" of more currently common powders not being on the shelves, I have noticed a few mom and pop gun shops are getting the widely used powders from a little ways back, and those in the know, i.e.; those ole timers.......are using it and reloading just like they did way back when!!! To be honest, I'm one of those ole timers myself. However, I don't consider to know much....still learning.

You only listed your chamber and not the action. I have used the powders listed, in a bolt gun only.

BTW......you'll find the load data by looking online for some pdf's of older Accurate Arms loading manuals. As for the H380.......just ask any old hand loader about it,,,,,or again, go online and check some older manuals.
Good luck and God Speed
