My Good Friend has left the Range .

A week ago Saturday Otto passed while in His sleep.
He had a long battle with Cancer.

Those of you may remember Him and His lovely Wife from Camp Perry ?
He was also the importer for RPA .

There is to be a Celebration of Life on Dec. 6th in the Springfield Oregon area.
I have no other details .

RIP Otto

I am sorry to hear that Otto has passed. He was a great guy. Always ready to help a shooter.

He will be missed,

Thanks for passing on the information. Never meet him but have a few items that I ordered from him in years past.

Back in the 80's (1980's not 1880's lol) I was going to Camp Perry and the first place just about everybody went to on commercial row was Otto's store. He was a genuinely honest and nice guy that had a lot of insight and answers to give this new shooter.

It doesn't seem that long ago but it was. Changed careers, started, raise a family and when you look back you see how time has slipped through your hands. Several people associated with the shooting sport have passed and Otto was one of the most memorable.

He will be missed.

We are diminished. I talked to Otto a couple of times by phone, and he was helpful, friendly, and generous with his time and knowledge. Another one of the good guys... gone but not forgotten.

I meet Otto at Sac Valley Shooting Center along time ago, when March Madness was a big thing. I bought Sierra bullets from him a number of times. I will miss him too. God Bless Otto.

Terrible news to hear. It was always a pleasure to deal with Otto and visit with him and Evelyn at the matches. RIP Otto.
