OT some what. Titegroup and 38 SPL. 125 JHP

All the forums I read on the internet about Titegroup and 125 GR. JHP for .38 SPL. loads seem to turn into talk of cast bullets and other powders or how my granny had a 1970 Chevy Nova.
Any body have a chance to share with the above combo , I'm all ears.
Thanks, Tom J.

According to hodgdon you can run 4.3 to 4.6 with a 125 grain jacketed bullet such as the 125 XTP by hornady.

Thanks,
I read that a week or so ago and was hoping I'm not the first to try it.
That's a pretty tight spread on grain weight and was wondering if maybe
I stick with the middle of the road load that will be best that powder will get.
Never tried this combo and I am willing to hear the good or bad on it.

Good news, I ordered 125 gr XTPs this morning. I may load some in 38 spl or all 200 may go to 357 mag.

I've shot quite a few of the Titegroup/125 jhp combo in Steel Challenge matches. Accurate and burns relatively clean.
