Original PA 1000 Yard BR shooting bench/roof project

Bob you just get yourself up there we'll have the rifle on in no time!

Steve You must have been there back in the 80's if you remember the cleaning bench in the middle of the parking lot.

yes in 86 was my 1st trip, we didn't get on paper our stepped off range at home was 160 yds short then in 87 we came up 2x it was just to much fun, that's when info was face to face or in a magazine, the range looks great

Steve subtract another 15 years that's when I started! Make it there we'll make sure you get them all on. This should all be great as long as it's done before we start our matches.

I have to make a very profound statement about this project; it will only get finished if the membership on the whole gets motivated and lends a hand each and every weekend from now through April 21. Time is slipping away and 4 to 8 men cannot do ALL the work that’s needed. Bud and I had a long discussion today about where we currently stand, and the bottom line is...WE NEED HELP AND LOTS OF IT if we want to shoot in April or May for that matter.

That said, get motivated, get to the range, and get around to helping the club.

Regards,

Andy

Andy, I work almost every weekend and have to budget the weekends that I use up and I am 306 miles from the range, but if a crew is put together for a set of week days, I am happy to come out and help to what ever extent that I can. You guys that are doing this are owed a great amount of support and respect.

Bob

Andy : We only have one vehicle in the winter and Frankie is working 12 hours or we'd be there.
Besides how much is Bud knocking off with you guys helping, hope you have it in writing like you always tell me.
The club vote was to get the project done with 15 benches! It's great you guys live an hour or two away but I'm 3. 5 hours away.
And now that the power is off on the campers I have no place to stay. The donations I got were to help with the concrete and benches so the club shouldn't have that to deal with.

Money does not buy workers nor time. I understand the donations still don’t add up. The money's to buy the added materials. Most of the men working have a 2.5 hour drive with the exception of Bud and Snook.

Anyway, I'm not going to belabor this topic any longer on this open forum.

Joe, or anyone else with questions, if want to talk to me directly you have my number and email.
