opinions please heaviest bullet in a 1/12 6br ?

i am doing 58's and 70's, but was wondering if i can go heavier ?

it is a casual prairie dog rifle, just wondering.

80 grain Berger for sure!

I use 75gr & 65gr vmax in my 12t i could not get the 80gr to shoot.

Mine will shoot 87 gr Vmax. 80 gr Berger's shoot the best.

I have a Dasher that shoots the 87 in a 12 twist, but all of them are different, next barrel might not be the same.....

The 85gr. Sierra HP works well in my experience.

Savage used to offer their varmint single shot in 8 or 12 twist. Now only in the 8. However if you own a 12 twist they will replace if you need it.

Yep. It depends on the bullet length and the exact twist, as well as speed and elevation. You're safe with any 80's I've seen. From there, you'll just have to try them.
