Opinions on Balance Beam Scale Ohaus 10-0-5

I have an Ohaus 10-0-5 scale I purchased years ago, never used it, and was wondering what it's worth. It's really good condition other than white plastic cover having some spots on it, knives are sharp and resting blocks are clean, zeros perfectly.
Older unit, not sure of date of mft.
Sell or keep?
Thoughts and opinions please!

I sold a Lyman one made by Ohaus (same thing) for $75. A great scale for most anyone in my opinion.

Regards,

Scott

rinoray,
That is a nice scale, I have the rcbs 10-10 and the 5-10 they are both made by Ohaus, yours is built just like the 10-10 which will weigh 1000 grains, not that you probably ever would but I believe if you pull the check weight out of the zeroing nob and hang it on the pan it will also weigh to 1000 grains. I myself would never get rid of it as you can always use a good beam scale, I have seen them from $45 to $100 on here, I gave $45 for my 5-10 and it works great, and $60 for my 10-10 and it also works great, I haven't used either one of them since I bought my 304 Ohaus but am not interested in getting rid of them.

Bozo...Wayne,

not to hijack this thread but since you mentioned it how does the 304 Ohaus work for weighing powder? Looks like an albatross and was always curious-

thanks

Beam scales work well, especially if you get it tuned by Scott Parker. I've gone on to the GD503 now because beam scales were just too hard on my eyes.
