opinion on these scopes?

I am looking to bye a scope for my 30-06. I will use the gun to hunt elk and deer. I have found two that I like. They are used scopes each in excellent condition. One is a Leupold vari x iii it is the older model with the adjustable objective its a 3.5-10x40. The other is a Zeiss conquest 3-9x40 mc. The Leupold is $260.00 and the Zeiss is $360.00.
What do you guys think?

Both are good scopes. Both should be good in low light hunting situations. Matt

Both are good scopes. You should also consider a Vortex. Absolutely love them.

Both are good scopes. The Leupold will come with a warranty and custom shop can change reticles and turrets if you are so inclined. Not sure about Zeiss. Not sure if that is a good price for used or not, but you might just want to buy both if it is.

Zeiss optics are crystal clear even in low light. Leupold is proven tough. Either way you wont go wrong.

The conquests cant hold a light to the leupold. Now the foreign zeiss are a different story.
