That is a good one! I took my brother out of State (his first trip) to my honey hole I had hunted for many years. He didn't want to walk far, sat on a folding chair and shot a MONSTER buck from the hip, so to speak, with rifle not at the shoulder, at less than ten paces in heavy cover about 20 minutes into legal shooting light. Said he would get a "bigger one" next year. In all the years I hunted that place, I never saw a buck that big, before or after. There is such a thing as beginners luck, for sure.
