After a year, Amazon finally sent my copy of The Wind Book for Rifle Shooters.
My wind calls on paper and steel have improved over the past five years, but are way short of consistency. I'm hoping to improve on that with this book.
At the range, I use flags, but my goal is to use visual natural objects to decipher velocity and direction changes beyond my position, where I get base wind and conditions off a Kestrel.
I'm not a competitor, just a shooter and hunter, but I'm always trying to get better. Hope this book will help what I feel is my weakest point.
