Absentee ballots andOur problem in a nutshell- There are no conservatives in the Democrat party but there are plenty of liberals in the Republican party. I voted early due to my job and was verified by photo ID, the early mail ins... who knows where they come from.
No, and especially not those who are interviewed on TV. It seems like we hear from the extremes on both ends of the spectrum, but rarely from those in the middle. These Parties of today are not the Parties of years ago. On either side, this is fact.
You can't help but chuckle, but sitting here in Maricopa County with several hundred thousand ballots still to count the joke rings a bit hollow.
Mark Twain was Right: "If voting made any difference, they wouldn't let us do it."You can't help but chuckle, but sitting here in Maricopa County with several hundred thousand ballots still to count the joke rings a bit hollow.
And looking to Nevada -- you "found" how many ballots??? Why is it these lost-and-found ballots ALWAYS benefit Democrats?
I'm sorry, it's hard to have faith in the process any more.
When fishing up on the Rim earlier this year, I met a fellow fisherman from Salome AZ. He told me he doesn't vote any more because "it doesn't make any difference". I begin to understand a bit better why he feels that way.
I totally agree with your description, but the question is WHO controls Mitch?People can focus on mail-in ballots, voting machines, cheating at polls, blaming Trump, etc. But all that accomplishes is exactly what people like McConnell want it to do - keep people mad and focused elsewhere.
If the repub party is not capable, or more than likely interested, in changing things then this is the end product and you can't point fingers anywhere else. They undermined the tea party and they undermined Trump because he was an outsider - instead of taking advantage of the opportunities.
The elephant in the room is really the elephant. Mitch and Co. will work more at undermining those within their party who are not in lock step than they will at what you think they should be focused on. Why are people not blaming Mitch for withholding PAC money from candidates who lost? They were for the GOP, but they were not for Mitch. He uses GOP funds to his gain, not yours.
Anyone who believes the GOP as a whole is on your side is mistaken. In two years it will be the same story, song, and dance.
Kind of like hanging hopes on the NRA. They have the support but they just never seem to do anything with it and are content to maintain status quo.
It is really simple. The one race that killed me was that Patty Murray winning again, for 30 years she has cost Washington tax payers millions of dollars. I can’t figure it out….
We must get back to the beginning principles of the founding of our nation before itThat would be a long an involved discussion that would accomplish nothing really, but would pass some time sitting on the porch while enjoying the day.
Instead, I would simply say that when it comes to people like Mitch, Chuck, Nancy, et al, they are not "controlled" by the voter. And they all work together.
And we cannot get them under control. As term limits, they want no part of that, it's ok for the president. These Parties of today are not the Parties of years ago. On either side, this is fact.
Or you vote a dead guy in, or a brain dead guy before you get to see him debateanother reason to vote early is that you don't get all the facts on your candidate and you vote because they have nice hair
I totally agree with your description, but the question is WHO controls Mitch?
