One reason to vote early

Its a well known fact, and in the democrat playbook, that republicans wait until election day to vote. Heres one example of why you should vote early. People are getting frustrated and going home. Remember, the person in charge of arizona elections is on the ballot for governor.

One iron-clad thing I do, the week or so prior: shut off the news, so that I'm no longer peppered by the slant. I do my own homework. I dig into the candidates, or at least as much information as can be found about them, and I do this during the months prior to the voting.

The second iron-clad thing I do: vote there, in person. Irrespective of what weakness or "frustration" the "machinery" wants me to feel.

I wish everyone would do those two simple things. Do the homework, avoiding listening to the sweet cooing in the ear by the media machine, and vote in person. It'd save a lot of grief.

Voted this morning and had problems with the machine accepting my ballot after voting three tries before it worked, another voter was visibly upset about the same problem, just on the news, Arizona is having problems with some of their machines. PS. I am from WV

TV/Radio make a large share of their AD income on election years. Biden DOJ is in 24 states "watching elections"? So the democrats still are pushing for federal control of elections, despite the vast majority of elections are local/state? And all states have their own election laws. Vote early, vote often according to Illinois democrats( seems like all the democrats are pushing this theme).

I voted at one location here in AZ that was having machine issues. Did not happen when i was there as i was the first one in. My wife on the other hand had to wait at same location a few hours after me do to issues. Also got to watch them letting in someone with a California ID untill a few people saw and spoke up about it. They finally made the person without AZ ID leave but had that not been caught by another voter what would have been?

When i got up to the door of the polling place I told security that the guy in the red shirt further back inline was a troublemaker to keep an eye on him. He is the guy that owns the 10 acres behind me and is the mayor of the town of Loxahatchee that we live in.

An old friend, 72 years old, always bitches about "rich Republicans" but insists he also dislikes many liberal positions, and claims he's neither Democrat nor Republican, but is an "Independent". I got tired of hearing it, so I finally had a flash of inspiration, asking him "Name one Republican you ever voted for." [cue crickets]

Good post!! I've never voted a straight ticket in my life. If we don't put tribalism and partisan politics behind us and vote who have our interests in mind we're gonna keep on going down a bad road. Dig in and get the information. It's not easy, but just listening to media that feeds your confirmational bias makes you just a puppet who's strings are being jerked.
