One More Neck Turning ?????

HI,
Need one more answer well really two. Does it matter which direction case is spinning during neck turning? I assume using a drill it is clockwise, but would it matter if it was counter clockwise? I have a drive motor (170 RPM) but it turns counterclockwise. Also how can you tell the difference in a K&M carbide and SS pilots or cutters?

Clockwise, The cutter will only cut one way.

Unless you can reverse the cutter by flipping it 180 degree's.

If you turn it counterclockwise, it will damage both the brass and the cutter. The brass will gall on the cutter surface.
