One less!

Drove down to my airstrip few minutes ago to check on some equipment and a big coyote was running west across a muddy field! Turned the truck lights out across the field and he made a fatal mistake of stopping and looking back from around 300 yards. I'll find him tomorrow! 22/250 cracked his azz!!

"It's very sad either way," said Michael Robinson, conservation advocate with the Center for Biological Diversity."

Biological Diversity....makes my azz want to take a dip of snuff!!

Around 40 years back southern ranchers in Texas....where they have some really big whitetail bucks...and where income is generated from hunters...the ranchers noticed a big decline in fawns so they asked the Texas Game & Parks Division to come and find out why the fawn population was going down. TGPD ran a one year study and by direct examination of coyote scat....it was able to reveal that coyotes were responsible for 89% fawn deaths! I have no qualms at all about bursting the azz of every coyote I get a chance to pull the trigger on!

He is one of us. Well at least that rifle is. Just look at the scope. That is not windage on the same side as the bolt handle.

"Biological Diversity" and "conservation advocate" in his context are code for anti-hunting.

Call and ask for it because I don't think it's in their on-line catalog but they've got them!!

When I lived in the high sierras of CA. My brother and I shot many of them rascals over a 22 year period. In fact some ranchers would call as soon as the cows started dropping calves. That was fun shooting but, kind of stressful as many of our shots were while the coyotes were mixed with the cows. But, we would just pick a lane where there were no cows behind the coyote and let her fly.
