Went out for a quick evening bow hunt at a friend's farm last week. I always like to bring along a rifle just in case, as he has a pretty good hog problem. Made a sneak and a one shot one kill on this large female. figure she'll go about 12lbs, maybe a bit more. easily over 20" without the tail. Good way to close out the hog hunting season.

rifle is a tikka tactical in 223 rem in GRS Berserk stock, 1-8 twist using a silencerco hybrid suppressor. Load was my practice match load, 77gr TMK over 24gr of varget for 2725fps. the hog caught the bullet and it had 25gr of retained weight.

I have the same rifle in a manner PRS stock. Its got custom quality to it. I really like it a lot. The factory TMKs shot right under an inch for 5 shots out of my rifle. Great load, great story, and great shooting!
