One good variable

I'm lookin for a variable in the 6-20 power range [or similiar power range] for $600.00 or less, adjustable obj., target turrets. What scope/s, as described, have been proven to have precise and reliable windage/elevation tracking and "good for the money" optics in this price range? Reliable and repeatable click adjustment seems to be a tough thing to find, as I understand in anything but $1000.00 plus scopes? Has anybody done any evaluations on the different brands of high power variables?

Nikon Monarch..IMHO There is not a scope in that price range that compairs to the Monarch

I would also recommend looking at our Clearidge Ultra XP. Excellent scope and it will compete with the big boys for quality and reliability at a reasonable price. You can get more information at www.clearidgeoptics.com.

I will second that on the monarchs. I have quite a few and compared to my Leupold and Nightforce for $350 bucks you cant go wrong. Greta tracking and clear images. They have never given me an once of trouble.

I have the Leupold 6.5-20x40 EFR, which fits your profile. It's very reliable, very clear en I am very happy with it. If you want 100% tracking accuracy, get a $2000 S&B, but do you see many of those in BR matches? A lot of hype, and certainly some are legit, but I have never had problems with tracking on any of my scopes,SS, leupies, weaver etc).

I own a Leupold VxII 6-18x40 target. Its pretty nice for varmint hunting, not for real real long range but for most would work great. It has 1/4" clicks, zero-able target dials. Fine plex, One inch tube. I bought it 2 and a half years ago for my 2506, I have now upgraded to the 8.5-25x50LR whatta scope. The 6-18 I bought was around $450 its probably alittle more now.
