One accurate powder for AR’s in .223 and .308 ?

For bulk loading and less than 1moa. with 55 grains (223) and 150 grains (308) any suggestions on a suitable easy loading powder for both cartridges ?

H4895 although it’s not ideal for either but it will work. Probably better off having 2 different powders. Blc2 can also work for both of varget/shooters world precision.

For "bulk loading" it is hard to know if folks mean progressive with a powder thrower, or something like a AutoTrickle or ChargeMaster? Be that as it may... I think some of the ball powders give "good enough" results through a powder thrower that they are worth the trouble.

Sometimes, a stick powder can produce such a wide node that the ES of the powder thrower still gives accurate ammo results. 4895 has been mentioned and is one of those that works well in a stick powder and has decent loads in both 5.56 and 7.62.

Ball powders would be ones like H335 that work well with the 55 in 5.56 and also the 150 in 308.

I use w-748 for that exact purpose.

It's accurate and meters perfectly on a progressive.

223/556... 25.4 or 26.6 with 52-55 grainers

308/762... 42.5 with any 168...
and 45.5 gr with 150 grainers. This load is VERY mild.

I get best accuracy in a .308s with H4895. In an AR with fast twist and 60-69 grain bullets, H4895 again for accuracy. In a slow twist (1 in 12") .223 and light (50gr.) bullets, H4895 works well, but is my second choice,
Reloder 7 being my first. However, I could get by fine with just H4895 for both .223 and .308.

Varget is often recommended as a good powder for both cartridges and it is, but I've found overall accuracy with H4895 to be slightly better than Varget. H4895 and Varget don't go through a measure as smoothly as a powder like TAC, but H4895 will generally outshoot TAC by at least a little bit.

Both my AR and 308 are shooting best with H4895. IMR 4064 although a bit bulky has also shot very well for me in the 223 and works fantastic in the .308 as well.

I have found that in those lighter for caliber bullet weights that the slightly faster powders give the best performance for volume. Benchmark, H335, Ramshot X-terminator, AA2230, AA2460.

The slowest I would go would be the H4895's, TAC, IMR8208.

Thank you to those who have responded and I probably should have done first what I am doing now .The 223 I only load for in the AR ,not in a long time, and probably used 748 . I do have bolt and semi automatic 308’s . The bullets I’m choosing for this situation are used probably for 300yds. and under and cost as well as purpose ,self defense. The powders on hand in quantity are 10x , Rel15 , 2200 , 2230 , WC 846 , & 2520 . What I am going to say may be foolish ,one powder for both makes the most sense to me especially if one of them like WC846 probably won’t be used as much as the others which will be used in bolt actions which are my favorites . If I don’t have your favorite, that’s why I pointed out 748 then , if it’s easy to get, I get it.

H335 or Benchmark for the 5.56. It is hard to get a good load for 55's in the 5.56 unless you have a 1 in 12 twist.

I've seen very good accuracy with 55 grain bullets in Colt 1 in 7" barrels. I don't know about lighter bullets.
